WOW Legends is a repack — you download it and run your own Wrath of the Lich King world. This page
is your map: the steps to get going, the basics of the bots, and one line per feature with a link to its full guide.
Commands go in the chat box, starting with a dot (.); a few are marked (server owner / GM).
Start here
- Check your PC — System requirements: what you need depends mostly on how many bots you want.
- Get the server — download the free repack, or as a supporter let the App install and run it in one click. Players need their own 3.3.5a game client.
- Let friends join — same wifi or across the internet: Play with Friends.
- Tune it for a small group — the defaults assume thousands of players; Solo & Co-op settings fixes that.
Playerbots — your living world
Hundreds of smart bots quest, grind, run dungeons, join guilds and roam the world, so it feels alive even when you're the only real player online. You can recruit them into your own group and they'll follow, tank, heal and DPS alongside you.

Once a bot is in your group, command it by whispering an order — orders start with $.
Whisper $help to see everything it understands — common orders:
/w <Name> $help # list what this bot can do /w <Name> $follow # stick with you /w <Name> $stay # hold position /w <Name> $attack # engage your target /w <Name> $tank / $heal / $dps # set its role /w <Name> $follow target # follow your current target
A whisper without $ is normal talk: the bot answers with AI chat (below). Once
talk-and-command is on, plain orders like “follow me” work too. Want the deep

AI chat — bots that talk back
Whisper any bot a real message and it answers in character: it knows its own name, race, class, spec and
zone, remembers your conversation, replies in your language — and has a temper if you push it. Bots also answer in
party, raid and guild chat, and when you /say something near them.
The AI brain is your choice: our hosted AI (no model setup — paste the key from your account dashboard), your own Ollama, or your own API key. Setup, every trigger and all settings: the AI Chat guide.
So your credit balance never surprises you — what actually talks to the AI, and what's free:
Free, always
The idle chatter bots make on their own as they roam — the lines they drop unprompted in general / world chat — are fixed messages from the database, not the AI. A lively, populated world costs nothing: no credits, no API calls.
Real AI — 1 credit each
Anything where a bot answers you is the live AI: whispering a bot, party / raid and guild chat, and a bot piping up when you /say near it (proximity). Each reply is 1 credit on the hosted AI — or free on your own Ollama.

Command your bots
Plain-language orders in any language. Ships off — one setting turns it on.
AI Companion
One permanent battle buddy that fights, levels, talks and remembers you.
Custom XP
Every character picks its own leveling speed: .xp set 5 (up to the realm max, 10× by default).
Hardcore & Mak'gora
One life, opt-in at level 1 — plus duels to the death, only with both players' consent.
Paths of Legends
Five opt-in challenge oaths sworn at the Herald of the Fallen, with a trophy at the end.
Warband Camps
Claim ground anywhere with .camp claim. Ships off — the owner turns it on.
Instant gear
One .gear command kits out a character with spec-aware, enchanted gear (server owner / GM).
Realm stats (SQL)
Three copy-paste queries that show who actually lives in your world.
Addons
Point-and-click GM and player panels instead of typed commands — free and open-source.
Handy everyday commands
A few that any player can use:
